Yes it’s a testing week!  Our students will take English I on Tuesday and English II on Thursday.  Remember to take some time to encourage students who will be taking these tests.  You’ll certainly put their mind at ease. 

We will also be pushing hard toward the finish line on our Seniors with CCMR.  We also have to do a better job of getting the word to our Juniors about the importance of CCMR.  When info comes out about students who may have to get out of class to attend CCMR related activities please be flexible.

I had the opportunity to attend the annual plant sale as well as the CTE Fair at the CCC Saturday.  It is always so great to see our students and staff representing Naaman in a great way.  I love my two new plants!

A huge shout out to our counseling team for being a top 3 finalist for the Educational Advances in Counseling Excellence award! We’ll find out the winner in July! Amazing!

Another shout out goes to our Step Team for placing second in the Trendsetters and Stage Breakers National Step Show.

More shout outs go to our Golf and Tennis teams.  It was great to see both of these teams in action this past week.  Another shout out goes to Catherine Ballard who’ll be representing The Forest at Regionals.

Another big shout out goes to our A Capella choir! They received straight 1’s at their UIL competition on Friday.  That’s Sweepstakes folks! Go Choir!

The district track and field meet will be this week, if you have time go out and check out our running Rangers.
