Reflection

I often talk to you about reflection.  October is a great time of reflection as we round out the first semester.  Soon it’ll be Thanksgiving break and Christmas will be right around the corner.  I have spoken to many teachers who have talked about being more intentional instructionally this year.  If your results last year were not what you wanted them to be you have the power to fix that.  That power lies in ensuring that you have the best possible instructional environment in your classroom.  It also means participating in meaningful data meetings that look at student work and prepare for reteach that makes a difference in our students.  As I have said before, our students count on us to lead them to success.  I appreciate all of you for having a great instructional environment for them all.

I would like to give a big shout to all who helped ensure we had a great NMSI Pep Rally.  It is always fun to recognize our AP Scholars.  We had lots of guests on campus and they were thrilled to see how we do things at Naaman. Also a big shout out to the volleyball, football, and the Ranger Band for all big wins this week.  Let’s keep it up!

Two big things this week:  Parent Conferences tonight from 4:00-7:00 pm tonight and the faculty meeting Wednesday at 2:52 pm in the auditorium.  See you there!

Go Rangers!
