Hopefully each of you got some rest or did something fun over the long weekend. It is always great to get some extra time off to relax as well as reflect on our practices as educators. This is also a great time to reconnect with your students when they return to your classes today. Believe it or not many of them miss being at school when they are out for a long period of time. That’s why it is important for us to provide an environment that is conducive to learning for them each day. An environment of compassion, trust, and love that we all can be proud of. So before you jump right in take time out to build those key relationships with your students.
We will have our NMSI pep rally tomorrow (10/18) which will include lots of outside guests. I am excited about showcasing the great academic successes of our students as well as featuring many of our great extracurricular activities.
If you have an opportunity tonight drop by the volleyball game. They knocked off district leader Rowlett Friday night and need everyone’s support tonight against Lakeview. This game is crucial for us. Go Rangers!
Shout out to the Naaman Forest Band for winning Grand Champion for the 3rd week in a row! They won this honor at the Paluxy Valley Marching Contest. This is the most wins in a season in recent memory. Go Ranger Band!
Have a great week!
We Are Naaman!
