Welcome to another busy week at The Forest! The good thing is that Friday is a day of learning, and Monday we are off. If you are like me, you are anticipating both of these days. We could all use a little break to rest and rejuvenate ourselves.
This week will be busy with many of our usual activities as well as testing (PSAT & ASVAB). As you all know we will have a dry run on Tuesday to ensure that Wednesday is super smooth. It is always a great idea to practice before the actual event. Please encourage our students to do their best on the test. All of you have built relationships with your students and they actually listen to the things you tell them. They need to know this is super important.
Let’s tackle these 4 days head on. We are now hard into the grind of school. Remember, your relationships with your students are what get you through the tough times. Keep building those positive relationships.
A big shout out to the Naaman Marching Band! They won Grand Champion at the Sound of Sunnyvale Marching Invitational. That means they beat every band in the competition! Wow! Back to Back Grand Champions! They won best percussion, best drum majors, and best in class!
Shout out to the football team. They are 6-0! What’s unique about it is we haven’t lost a football game at any level on this campus. Let’s beat Rowlett this week!
Go Rangers!
We are Naaman!
Have a great week!
