It’s a new week at The Forest!  Are you ready?  I hope so!  Here we go!

I want to thank you for how all of you stepped in as we allowed students to remember students who lost their lives in tragic school shootings.  The students responded well and appropriately.

Many of our students will be extra excited this week because of prom.  They have waited all year for this and it is now here.  I will be speaking to them directly this week about how to have fun appropriately.

Shout out to the Softball team for another great game.  They destroyed Lakeview on Senior night.  Go Rangers!

Shout out to the girls and boys track team.  They have several athletes who will be headed to the Regional meet.  Go Rangers!

Shout out to the Baseball team.  They beat South Garland 10-0.

Shout out to the NFHS band.  They received sweepstakes at their competition last week.

Another shout out goes to the NFHS Chemistry quiz bowl team.  They won the Garland ISD quiz bowl.  Congratulations!
