Thanks for helping testing go smoothly. We are hopeful for great results from the students who tested.
I know that many of you will begin reviewing for final exams this week. Reviewing for exams is a good time to have small checks to see how students have mastered the concepts you have taught over the semester. Yes, a final exam is a summative assessment but it gives you a clear picture as you review where their level of mastery actually is.
In last week’s blog I gave data on our level of engagement that has been captured based on walk-throughs. Your AP will begin to take you through processes to improve your lesson planning that will focus on engaging learners. If your lesson plan isn’t designed to engage learners then your lessons will simply not engage them in the learning process. I will include a link below that will give a few quick tips on engaging learners.

We will not have the scheduled faculty and staff meeting this Wednesday. I will use our time together Thursday the 20th to go through my agenda.
