It’s Monday again! Another Monday to reset and make a tremendous impact in the life of your students. It’s Spring time at a large high school so that means there are tons of things going on each day and night. What I love to see is the Championship spirit I am seeing out of our students. They are competing and showing their strength each time they compete. Just like the work hard on the field of play and in their academic competitions they must show that same fire in the classroom. I know they have it in them. Our English teachers have been hard at work in the classroom on their last push toward STAAR. They are also pulling intervention groups during their conference period each day. I am thankful for their hard work in order to ensure that our students are successful on STAAR.
Do not forget what I mentioned to you Friday about the 4th quarter. You should never think about being second best. You should always have winning on your minds!
Speaking of winning, we have a few shout outs below.
A big shout out to our soccer teams. They will both be in playoff action this Thursday. If you have students in your class on the soccer team please shout them out in class. They love this type of stuff.
Another shout out goes to the cast and crew of “These Shining Lives!” They have now advanced to Area in the UIL One Act Play competition.
Another shout out goes to our softball and baseball teams. They are both playing some great ball.
Have a great week!
We Are Naaman!
