Brrrrr!  It’s cold out there this morning.  If you are like me you had a wide range of emotions last night as you anxiously waited to see what GISD would do in reference to the weather pattern that swept through last night.  It seems as if the entire state shut down except for a few school districts in the DFW area.  Lol!  Well we are here and we have much work to do.  Let’s focus on what’s important and we’ll fly right through this day.

As always there are many activities taking place in and outside the building this week.  Encourage your students to get involved.  As we all know, an involved student is a connected student…and connected students do better in school and make better choices.

Shout out to our basketball teams who both split against Sachse and Lakeview this past week.  The girls defeated Lakeview and the boys defeated Sachse.

Shout out to the boys soccer team for a great showing at the Allen Tournament.
