It’s Homecoming! You already know our students will be super excited this week. Remember to be firm but flexible. We want them to enjoy their homecoming week but we have to keep them focused on what’s important. Learning is the most important thing we do. So let’s do it at a high level.
Let’s talk instruction…If you are looking for something to try in your instruction this week introduce gallery walks to your students. I know that many of you have used them before but I would like to include a simple protocol for using gallery walks in your classroom. They are a great way to get your students moving and talking to each other about their learning. The following link gives good instructions on how to use gallery walks in your classroom. https://serc.carleton.edu/introgeo/gallerywalk/what.html
