Welcome back to another wonderful week at The Forest. Our students have starting settling in to the day to day of school life. It is important that we work to ensure that they are all moving in the right direction. The great thing about our students is that 97% of them make great choices each and every day. Let’s focus on those that make great choices, and continually help the 3% that need a little extra help.
Many of our clubs and organizations are beginning to kick off, and our students are fired up about this. Encourage them to get involved. The more connected to our school, our sponsors, and our community the more engaged they will become. Engaged and connected students are great students! One of our four main goals at Naaman is that all of our students are connected to something or someone. Let’s keep everyone connected!
Shout out to the Ranger football team! Big win over Berkner last Friday! The grind will continue this week at Williams stadium against Grand Prairie. We will get the party started Friday at the pep rally and then let’s pack the stands at the game as a staff and get behind our Rangers. Another big shout out to our Ranger volleyball team! They kicked off their first district game with a win over South Garland! Keep pushing that Ranger spirit!
Please keep Officer Hawkins and his family in your thoughts. I was able to visit him this weekend at Baylor while he was surrounded by his beautiful family. They are all a strong bunch and he’ll certainly need them and all of us during this tough time.
A couple of other football notes:
*College Football in Texas is struggling!
*If you are a Baylor fan, they are really struggling!
**How ’bout those Cowboys!!!
Have a great week!
