It was great to end the week in such an awesome way!  We were able to celebrate each of you through Teacher Appreciation, as well as celebrate our Seniors and underclassman at their awards programs.  Thanks to the counselors and Mr. Hughes for putting on great awards programs.  The parents and the students had many positive things to say.  I often find myself at those type of assemblies getting choked up and a little teary eyed.  I get this way because I am reminded of the many great students we have.  It warms my heart to see so many of our Seniors getting scholarships and so excited about the next phase of their lives. 

One other great event last week was our Collegiate Academy Signing Day.  This was a great day for our campus.  So many parents and students showed up to get the process started for a Collegiate Academy as well as make it known publicly that they are committed to this great program.  A special shout out goes to Mrs. Glick for putting on a wonderful program for our students. 

Remember to finish strong.  Seniors will begin exams this week and I know you are working hard to prepare them for those exams.  Your energy should be focused on preparing all students for exams and reminding them that they will remain in class.  Students have to be in class to learn. 

Wear jeans the rest of this week and finish strong!
