Naaman family I’ll keep this one short.  As you all know we start our final testing push this week.  We will have a combination of AP exams, which starts today, and STAAR exams which starts Tuesday with Algebra 1.  Please pay careful attention to all of the information that will be coming from Mr. Quach and Mrs. Gilliam.  Let’s be honest, testing can be grueling but it is something we all have to do.  It is not easy to have STAAR testing and AP testing going on at the same time.  They also have their own set of systems that make them unique.  They also change often from year to year.  That’s why it’s important to pay attention to any updates.  We will get through it all together.  Do not forget to encourage the students that are taking the test.  It certainly makes them more comfortable about the assessment they are about to take. 

Yes I know it’s National Teacher Appreciation Week. We delay it around here because double testing and all of that doesn’t allow us to really get into it. This is a tough time but you matter. Hang in there and stay focused on what’s important. Taking care of our students. Do not allow the hustle and bustle of your job cause you to lose the why behind what you do.
